prams

the biggest thing that has crossed both mine and Liz's mind is prams we have been searching the internet trying to findf a pram thats light weight but also eay to use with one we have founbd a selection of travel systems thaty we are interested in buying in our price range most prams have clips you need to undo to get the seat out so that if baby is sleeping you don't have to kleave them in one room whilst you are in another .

I am going to do some trials at a local baby shop to find out how this will work out and will update  with how I got on

this is the system that we are currently looking at

As well as testing this pram I will be getting the taga bike that I showed on an earlier post.  The reason I feel is I feel more secure on a bike than I do walking and feel more stable also

Nappies Pt2

Well on deciding wht nappies to get on deciding that we are goiing to use reuseable ones (have been blessed with my auntie saying we can have heer childs old omes) just need to get the inner parts now.

Next problem how on earth can you do up a nappy with one hand  therre have been improvements luckily so no sticking pins in baby  will have to have some practise one thinks  my logic on it is thaty I will use my good arm to do what needs to be done and then use my hemi (left arm) to hold babies legs in place for when I put it on

I have seen online videos where it has been done but I think its going to be a case of  practise makes perfect

Update 13.03.12

I took delivery of reuseable nappies this week, I am going to test them out, they look simple enough to do. They just look like big pants

Only down fall from reading reviews is the smell.  This the only issue that is of concern so far does mean that the extra saving you make from not buying disp[osable does shorten with the extra cost of electricity/ water for washing (but I am sure this does not equiate to the about paid for disposable nappies)
